Week in TV: 3/12 IRON FIST and Originals

By Alyssa & DRWHO42

Last week was a week that involved some jumping around through time with Victoria and Time after Time as well as an emotional roller coaster which put tissue boxes to good use for fans of This is Us and also those saying goodbye to The Vampire Diaries. Designated Survivor returned with a bang (actually a shot) and Supergirl is hit the rewind button with Kevin Sorbo and Terri Hatcher making appearances this week.

Looking ahead to this week there is a variety to choose from including American Crime, Snatch (based on the film of the same title), and The Originals. A new hero from the Marvel Universe, Iron Fist, bows on Netflix and we think there will be plenty who will be checking this series out.

Series renewals have been trickling in slowly with pilot order news. Most notable renewal this week is The 100 being a 5th season pickup.

This week we will see the season finales for This is Us, Lethal Weapon, and Comic Book Men.

If there are any series that excites you please join the conversation on the FoCC forum and let us know by clicking here.

Alyssa bought her first comic at age 7 and was hooked. She has collected comics most of her life. Recently, she has branched out to comic art and books and the occasional Lego set. She goes to as many cons as she can and enjoys the 'long form' storytelling of the television medium. She is also a foodie and is always up for trying new and different food.
