This is a super idea. I cannot stand the high neckline of most t-shirts yet love many of the designs. This is a great way to keep memories.
I have a bunch that I'd love to convert to a quilt. Don't know if I want to do it myself or out source it like you did. Is your quilter in Etsy? Are they still taking commissions?
Is it expensive? I have a lot of concert shirts I wanted to do this with. It looks great.Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
I guess that's relative to what you consider expensive? Her quilts run anywhere from $200-$375 depending on size? That was great for me, as the number of quilts I'd been looking at ran in the $500 range and up. And thanks! I'm especially pleased with how it came out.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Quality makes a big difference on what makes the cost worth it and she looks likely she does a great job.Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Completely agree. And yes. She took a lot of care in it. I worked with her on it a lot... what pieces I wanted included, etc. She emailed to ask me questions before she hacked anything up. And she featured my two all time faves, my limited edition Gama-go tees with monsters attacking the convention center like I requested. (You can see them in the center, teal and yellow.)
