The Blade Runner 2049 Experience
« on: July 06, 2017, 08:25:28 PM »
Sounds like this year's equivalent to last year's Mr. Robot Experience.

"Setting the tone, the experience begins as guests enter through a gallery of art from “Blade Runner 2049.” An Oculus VR experience will immerse visitors in the world of the film. But that is just the start: as the VR presentation ends, guests will walk into a neon-lit Los Angeles street scene, where they should be prepared to experience what our potential future holds, including impromptu tests to determine if they are humans…or replicants. "

Haven't found one online but there was talk that you could either sign up for a specific time or wait in line. Maybe there are doing it onsite like Westworld.

God, I hope Ryan Gosling doesn't ruin this movie...

Or Harrison Ford: that dude is a dud in so many movies the last couple of decades.  He was almost fine in FORCE AWAKENS, but he was even a snooze as Indiana Jones in the movie that I refuse to acknowledge exists.
Of course, the director of this film is OFF THE HOOK, and even if Ford and Gosling are robot-esque it'll fit the tone of the film.  I'm hyped for it

In line now. Not that bad. When I got in it was about 60 people long. Now it's about 120. The dude in line next to me says appt registration starts at 9:30.

I'll just say it. Best offsite EVER!!!!

Great VR, great set with awesome actors, free tshirt, free food and free booze. Whatmore do you want.

If you don't link your social media you will get a poster instead of the shirt. Just ask them and they'll give you a shirt. Won't get a poster if you link social media.

Now that I'm in the front of the expanse line, I realize that there is a priority line for people exiting bladerunner. I saw the line when leaving but thought I had toget into it from the front. Don't waste an hour like me and hop in the short expanse line that's at the exit of bladerunner.

You can make appts or did it right away. People with appts take priority over people running right away obviously. Since I was early, there were few appts to deal with.
