Home Theater Setups

Ok, first off, this is not mine, although I do have one, but after looking at these images I find my setup sorely lacking...

Now I wanna plan how to do full-on projection...anyone have a HT setup with a projector?  I'm currently a Sony 65" XBR 4K TV.

I don’t have as posh a finish to my system, and I am not projecting, but I do want to remind you to sound seal the room. My room was built with the sheet rock hung on aluminum track placed on the studs so as to cut down on vibrations being transferred through the walls. I sealed all openings that pierced the walls, including the outlets. Eliminate anything that will vibrate. Choose light fixtures with this in mind. There’s nothing like imperial walkers making your lights vibrate. It ruins the sound effect.

I can tell when people are serious movie goers and wanna see something and feel as if they in theater minus the chatter , or cell phone , or crying kids etc then they do what they can to fix a room for that reason. now days compared to before, tech and all make it so easy to create a room u wont be wasting time going to a place when u can save and just rent a copy and watch at home and enjoy.

I would love setup surround in my living room   I am faced with issues when thinking about it lol  my room is big and awkward which means speaker cords would be literally EVERYWHERE and my cats would probably try to climb and lay on said speakers

I recently got rid of my surround and just moved to a soundbar w/ a woofer. I like it and it gave me back some space and looks cleaner.
