I've been checking his webpage multiple times a day, and it still has the same message.

Keep in mind that this does not say that he will be giving a concert, only that he will be there. It could be anything. Keep in mind that this summer marks the 25th anniversary of the release of UHF. It could even be related to that.

(If you're curious, the link just goes to CCI's web page.)

Oh God, that movie...  Suddenly all my teenage obsessions are coming back to me and I'm getting nostalgic.  I may also have Spatula City stuck in my head now.

We sell spatulas... And that's all!

It probably says a lot about me that I still giggle when I pass a cabinet that says 'supplies'.  :D

Wow, tickets handed out at location TBA? I've never heard of that before. Did they do this last year? I really want to go to this.

Yes, they do ticket distribution upstairs in the Sails Pavilion. If there's really no line, the people usually let you draw until you get a ticket. They aren't supposed to, but I've witnessed it before first hand. ;)

Last year we got tickets to see Bill Paxton, Anne Rice, Mythbusters and Pinky and the Brain.

But is there really no line?

Hmmm... Trying to see how much time I'd have to invest to do this. Would I have to get there at 6 am when the Sails opens up and then wait for 3 hours to draw for tickets? Or is getting there at 8:30 am sufficient? Would I be able to get there at 6 am, draw for some autograph ticket lines, then wait until 9 am for the CCI panel drawings?

Thanks for letting me know of your experience, Miss Kitty!

Some people lined up early, but some of the the ticket drawings, you could literally just walk up with no real line. Serious. It just depends on the thing. Mythbusters had the longest of the lines that I got into and I still got tickets, but those weren't the most popular of the ticket drawings.

We we also sandwiched inbetween the WB signings ticket distribution and that was UGLY!! People lined up for hours to get SoA and when they got there, all that was left was something that they totally didn't want. One guy nearly flipped the table over, he was so mad!

So for last year, what time would you have recommended getting in line for the CCI ticket drawings, Miss Kitty?

And also, do you win 1 or 2 tickets? Weird Al would not be as fun without my SO.
