Do y'all think this might be an easy panel to walk into? I don't plan on lining up the night before for Hall H. Additionally, I'm more interested in the signing that's taking place immediately after the panel.

I'm wondering if I should skip the panel and get in line for the signing. I don't see any way I can make it to the signing even if I run right after the panel.

According to the Unofficial SDCC blog, the signing is at 4:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343. Do you just go straight there? Or is there a lottery in the morning in Sails? And are they signing posters or do we need to bring our own stuff? Not sure how this is going to play out.

IIRC, in the past, the EE both signings have come at a charge: either buy merchandise (with free autograph) or pay for autograph. You just line up at the booth. I'm not sure if they'll continue to do that for a super popular signing...?

I googled EE signings at SDCC last year and apparently it was free last year, but you have to draw a winning ticket. Here's the quote from You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login below:

"All signings will be located at the Entertainment Earth booth #2343 and are free to convention attendees. However, a winning ticket is required to attend. Details on how to obtain a randomly distributed winning ticket will be available at the Entertainment Earth booth starting July 20, 2016."

Couldn't find the "details" however.

Thanks for the update! You can tell that I didn't try for an EE signing last year. Looks like they had to go with the randomized draw as well. Ugh...

The draw sucks but if it was first come, first serve, the line would be brutal. Who knows how early people are going to line up? And vendors and exhibitors...oh god.

I've done the EE autograph thing many times over the years.  If it's like years past (please be, please be), you can enter the drawing for tickets via messaging. If you win, they send you a message as to where you get your ticket and when you should get in line.  You just have to show your message when you arrive at the booth.  Sometimes they have things that can be signed for free, or you can buy things to get signed.  Selfies are cool too! I've never been told by anyone to not take pictures and sometimes the person moving the line along will take them for you.

Where do they post details of the messaging?

If Kyle M. doesn't greet the crowd with a Dougie Jones "Helloooooooooo!" I will be deeply disappointed with him.

There's usually a sign at the booth.

Thanks. Might have to swing by there on preview night to see what it says.
