Alamo Drafthouse Star Wars marathon, December 13, 2017
« on: October 07, 2017, 05:55:52 PM »
This is pretty insane. Starts December 13th at 1:00am. Tickets are around $77. I saw this on the San Francisco schedule, don't know if it is at the other locations.

"Experience all eight Star Wars saga films in one epic day. Fans will be treated with exclusive content, collectible cards, a commemorative blanket, and a special concession offer."

No word on the ordering of the films, 4-6,R1,1-3,7? They are also selling Light Side, Dark Side and Porg glasses designed by Oliver Barrett, but can't find pictures of them yet.

Oh daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. I'd do this if my semester was over. But it's 2 days before the end. Le sigh.

My boyfriend asks: "Is the catheter complimentary, or do you have to pay extra?" 😂

Lol! We're going there tonight for Thor Ragnarok, I can ask :)  I did see this "Please Note: No late or mid-marathon entry allowed. If you're in, you're in all the way!" So no hope of skipping out on Episodes 1-3.

Also, I was wrong about Rogue One being included, it wasn't clear to me at first that they were ending the marathon with The Last Jedi, I thought maybe they wanted you to buy a ticket for that afterwards.

Here are pics of the glasses
