Stranger Things - SPOILERS!
« on: July 18, 2016, 12:29:58 AM »
I just started watching this show on Netfilx and I have to say, I'm hooked!

It's clearly a homage to 80s horror with a heavy dose of Steven Spielberg.

Has anyone else seen this?

Just finished it yesterday.  I liked it and would come back for more if they do a second season.

I marathon-ed all 8 episodes Friday night :D
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

Nice!  I wanted to keep watching and during breakfast it was all I could talk about.  I wonder if Netflix will have anything on it at SDCC.

Finished it last night and I can say that I want to sit back down and watch it again!  Such a great show!  The poster by Ken Lambert is heavily influenced by Drew Struzan and it looks fantastic!

We started this yesterday and finished it today.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!!  Winona Ryder is terrific and love how much the girl looks like her.  My X-Files junkie kept comparing scenes to various X-Files episodes (she has them all memorized).  Very nostalgic for me to see so many 80s cars, products and such.  Definitely recommend watching!!

Loved it!  I could see myself as a child curled up to watch it, I felt they really nailed the era.

[member=1731]Pyramid[/member] can you please amend the thead title to include "Spoilers" or "No Spoilers" whichever applies. I can't read the thread because I'm not done watching the show yet, so I'm not sure which it should be. Thank you! ;D

Stranger Things - spoilers

I highlighted this show in the "Week in TV" articles on the blog as a pick and I really enjoyed this show. With the announcement of renewal I would recommend giving it a try.
