Same!Because you successfully completed a volunteer assignment at Comic-Con 2016, you are eligible for Priority Volunteer Registration for Comic-Con 2017
Me too! Now I can stop irrationally worrying that I won't qualify as a returning volunteer.
from the Volunteer page:"VolunteersThank you for your interest in the Comic-Con 2017 volunteer program. The Volunteer Interest List for Comic-Con 2017 is now closed. In early 2017, online volunteer registration will open to the returning volunteer Priority List (those who completed at least one volunteer assignment in 2016) and the 2017 Interest List only. If you are a returning volunteer or have signed up for the Comic-Con 2017 Interest List, you will be notified via email when online volunteer registration opens. If you are not currently on the Priority List or the Interest List, another volunteer opportunity you might want to check out is WonderCon Anaheim! Please review the WonderCon Anaheim “Volunteers” page for additional information and instructions to register. Online registration for WonderCon 2017 Volunteers will open in late 2016. We thank ALL of our volunteers, past, present and future, for their help and enthusiasm in making Comic-Con International and WonderCon Anaheim great experiences for all who attend!"
The time span was longer this year vs. last year, although that may not be a sign of any increased capacity for this year or indicate how competitive the actual volunteer registration day will fan out!
Interesting. While everything SDCC usually sells out/fills up quicker and quicker, that wasn't the case this year for Interest List capacity AND last year for the actual volunteer sign-up. (Where it lasted 2+ hours rather than minutes as before.) I've been suspecting over the last year or two that SDCC is reaching somewhat of an equilibrium point. It will still be crazy for awhile, but it won't get crazier. Although, we'll have to see if anything else backs this up or if these were just flukes.
