I do not fully understand how I apply for two people.

This event is open to all NYCC 2017 SUNDAY badge holders. Please enter your NYCC 2017 confirmation ID found above the QR code on the confirmation email for your NYCC 2017 tickets (If you are requesting 2 tickets you MUST provide the information above for both tickets)

There is only room for one set of information. I also have only one confirmation code but I did purchase two Sunday tickets. One is fan verified to my girlfriend though.

Am I missing something or is this confusing?

It's confusing.  I came here to see what everyone was saying about it.

My guess is that if you win, you can then assign the second entry to your +1.

They just responded with this on Facebook.

New York Comic Con- if we're putting in for two tickets:
1) how do we enter the two codes? There is only space for one. Do you wan them separated by comma or just a space (does it matter?)
2) If i'm going with a friend and I put my code and his code but then HE enters and puts his code and my code does that double our chances, or are they negated? Or let's say I put a friend, but then ANOTHER friend puts herself and me. How will that work? Will it even let them? (if not, I'd hope for a warning and not just being disqualified).

New York Comic Con Good questions!
1) As long as you make it clear there are two different codes in there, you'll be all set. Formatting doesn't matter as long as they're not connected :)
2) You and your friend's entries would NOT be negated. As long as you have a Sunday badge and a confirmation ID, you're free to enter, even if it is your buddy's ID and they already entered :)

Best of luck, and may the Force be with you.

There seems to be one use case missing there. I have two tickets that I purchased in the same order so I think that I have only one confirmation number. How do I handle that? Does it know that I have 2 Sunday tickets on that number? Can my girlfriend enter with the same number?

Q: If I'm requesting 2 tickets, but both badges are part of the same order, I only have to put the confirmation ID once, right?

A: Correct, they have the same ID. Thanks, and no worries :)

"You only need to provide one confirmation if you both have the same one. Also, your friend can enter, too!"

Q: ...or do I just put my own info and request 2 tickets (he would do the same). The wording makes it seem I need to submit his info on app.
A: You only put your info and then just the one confirmation ID since you both have the same one. If he enters, he'll put his info & that ID."

Both people can put in separate lotto entries for 2 tickets.

It sounds like it's for more than one winner, but I wonder how many.  Did they say?

I entered the lottery just for the heck of it.  No skin off my nose if I don't win.  If I win, I'll use my Canon for the pic.

I went to this event today since I was lucky enough to get picked. It took place in 1C01, which held fan meetups during the con. The room has a bunch of chairs and a few round tables. We waited a while for Mark to come in, he was delayed signing autographs - when he first walked in, he said after a while, he didn't even remember if his name has one l or two. He sat in a chair and asked if we had any questions for him. He talked about how he prepares for the kind of show he did on Saturday and told us about how he messed up his thumb filming a scene during Empire Strikes Back and how it messed up production because he couldn't hold a lightsaber for a while. He probably talked for 15 minutes, maybe a little more.

Then we all lined up for pictures, there was a Reed Pop/NYCC background at one side of the room. He sat on a chair with his two super cute dogs on a chair next to him, and we all took pictures. We gave our cameras/phones to someone who took the picture. He was very nice, he shook everyone's hand and had a short conversation with everyone, so it wasn't like two seconds and you were done talking to him. The pics have his dogs in it also, which I was thrilled about (huge animal lover - my conversation with him was about his dogs). It was nice of him to make the time to do this event, especially at the end of his con.

I am terrible with estimating crowds, but I would say there were maybe 50-75 people in the room? There was a person ahead of me in line who tried to convince the staff to let his wife in as an extra person (he was already bringing their daughter in as his plus one) - they said no. The wife did not take it well.

I was very lucky to be able to do this, and it was really fun. The whole event took about an hour - they made you leave after your picture, and I was maybe in the middle of the photo line.

No sympathy.  People in situations like these always have a false sense of entitlement, just like the line cutters we encountered at San Diego Comic-Con last July.  The rules specifically said plus ONE, not plus TWO.

Glad you had a good time!
