Thanks! I was just about to edit, the official press release on their website now has locations. They probably kept things simple for the backer email. If you are a backer, just a heads up we get to purchase tomorrow while public on sale is Friday.

SDCCUBlog said in their article it'll be at the Balboa Theater.
I hope that doesn't mean no Nerdist shows :(.  Always is one of my favorite offsites of the whole weekend.

I'm not sure what it means for Hardwick/Nerdist. Its odd he hasn't said anything yet. Last year the podcast tickets were on sale in April. Conival was confirmed to be back at the very end of June/beginning of July.

I have never had luck tweeting at him and getting a response but maybe someone else would.

The Balboa Theatre also has listed for Friday night at 10 PM--

The Adventure Zone

Fri 7/21 @ 10pm
Balboa Theatre
San Diego, CA

and for Saturday night at 10 PM--

My Brother, My Brother and Me

Sat 7/22 @ 10pm
Balboa Theatre

So probably no Hardwick/Nerdist podcast this year, at least not at the Balboa.

MST3K will be doing two live shows during SDCC.  They sent a backer update today with the list of live shows. July 21 doing Eegah @7pm, July 22 doing a Secret Surprise Movie @7pm.  No details on where. Tickets go on sale for backers tomorrow and they will send an email for the link.  Email also says that for Eegah it will be new riffs, secret movie won't be announced (yet?...). Shows will have Jonah and the bots plus Joel as emcee.

what does on sale for backers mean?

[member=6540]Lavendar[/member] They did a Kickstarter to fund the newest episodes so those people got an e-mail today with pre-sale info!

I haven't read the backer e-mail does it say that shows in other cities will be all the same cast listed for the SDCC shows? They will be in my city Aug. 3 so I am debating seeing them here to free up time in San Diego! The mystery show is propbably gonna be pretty awesome though... decisions decisions!

From what I understood, all tour dates will have Jonah and the Bots plus Joel as emcee.  I was also thinking of just going to my local show to free up con time, but the special secret one isn't coming to my city.  Since Felicia Day will most likely be in San Diego that could also mean a surprise appearance by her so I'm conflicted on what to do.

I am terrified I am not gonna get tickets and Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt and Wil Wheaton are all gonna show up! I am also praying to the Con Gods for Fundays tickets on Weds so I may just let things play out an see if any tickets are open closer to SDCC!  ???

I'm having my annual crisis where I want to buy tickets to ALL THE THINGS but I'm afraid something else will pop up on those times/dates that I'll want to do and I'll have wasted my money.   ???  Particularly the Friday and Saturday night stuff.  If I do Hall H Saturday I probably won't want to do evening stuff on either day.  But there are so many good things!

The only thing I have bought tickets for is Hop-Con at Stone Brewing Company which I have made an annual tradition! I am hoping to get tickets to Funko Fundays which would take up Friday night however odds are not good LOL! I am with [member=4434]Angel_[/member] I hesitate on certain things every year in hopes of not wasting money if I find something I'd prefer to do! However I always manage to have a blast regardless!

So far I bought tickets to

Thursday Night - Game of Thrones Parody. (they're running shows on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturday)
Saturday Night - Michelle Branch. (Singer that I'm a fan of that just happens to be playing in San Diego on the Saturday)

Hoping to get tickets to Funko for the Friday as well but that's unlikely given how fast it sells out.

*If* Wil Wheaton is in town, you could see him at W00tstock on Thursday night. Tickets should still be available for that.
