I can't find a link to last years exhibitors list.
Do any comic book publishers or book publishers have booths there?

Here's a google cache link, so will be a bit ugly.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

There weren't any major publishers that I recall, some small independent ones and individual creators. That's a good thing to know beforehand, there is little in the way of promotional panels or booths by the big companies, so (unless they really change it) you won't see the big publishers or studios bringing people there to promote new projects. There was a solid artists' alley last year.  You will have a lot of science/tech stuff compared to most other cons.

Thanks, that's good info.
Well, I was hoping for Tor or some other book publishers having booths there. Plus no IDW, Dark Horse etc.
I'm on the fence.

The exhibitors from last year are on here, although you have to scroll down to all the way below the sponsors.

Nope, no comic book publishers and I don't recall seeing any book publishers either. There were a (very) few comic book retailers.

No 'big' publishers. You'll get a lot of tech companies. NASA had a huge booth last year, while WB had a small one. The Exhibit Floor is not the reason to come to this con. Rather, it is the wide variety of guests and panels that are offered. Last year they had panels for The Flash (Grant Gusting and Tom Felton), Sesame Street (with all of the live actors), a Star Trek TNG reunion, Buzz Aldrin speaking about going to Mars, a full slate of NASA panels, Steven Yuen, Billy Boyd, Nichelle Nichols, etc. etc. In the outdoor festival, there were tech company offsites from Playstation and Facebook, etc. It's not quite the same focus as a CCI con, but still very enjoyable for someone like me, who focuses mostly on panels.

One option would be to wait until they announce more guests and panels. VIP passes will probably sell out but I doubt regular passes will, (I'm actually waiting to see if they offer another sale like they did last December.) Like the ones [member=314]Transmute Jun[/member] mentioned from last year, I expect there will be some really awesome and unique panels and signings.

Also, for more of a focus on books and publishers, though probably not comics publishers, Worldcon will be in the same place as SVCC in August. Ironically, their hotel reservations just opened up today even though it's much farther out.

Actually, if you're interested in publishers like IDW and Dark Horse, and book publishers and a BIG Artists' Alley, I would highly recommend ECCC.

Unfortunately I missed the boat on ECCC, some tickets sold out now.
I'll try for 2019

That's not going to work for me. I'll wait another year and get the 4 day ticket.

Saw the email today and thought they might be having another xmas sale like last year, but just a guest announcement for some gaming industry people. Says hotels open up in January.

Just saw that they added Michael Moorcock as a guest, that's awesome.

I wonder why the hotels are taking so long? The hotels for Worldcon 76 in August are already available!
