Buddy the Elf joins the Professor to talk registration codes.

Before you make snow angels for two hours, go ice skating, eat a whole roll of Tollhouse cookie dough as fast as you can, and snuggle, let’s talk registration codes!

To enter the Expo Logic waiting room, every eligible attendee will need their own personal registration code. Personal registration codes help prevent ineligible members and angry elves from entering the Expo Logic waiting room.

To access the link to the waiting room and your personal registration code, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and shout, “I’m singing! I’m logging into my Member ID account and I’m singing!” and then select the “Registration Info” tab. The link and your registration code will also be sent to you via email at least 48 hours prior to Open Registration. Make sure to keep your registration code safe and secure.

The Expo Logic waiting room will open for registration code authorization at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on December 9, 2017. You don’t need to arrive exactly at 8:00 AM (PST), so go pick some snowberries with Arctic Puffin and arrive 10 — 15 minutes prior to 9:00 AM (PST) to avoid unnecessary wait times. However, you must authorize your registration code for entry to the waiting room prior to 9:00 AM (PST). The waiting room will close promptly at 9:00 AM (PST) and if you did not enter your code in time, you will be shut out!

After 9:00 AM (PST), Expo Logic will begin randomly moving members from the waiting room to a registration session. Regardless of what time you entered the waiting room, you may or may not be selected for a registration session.

If you are accidentally removed from the Expo Logic waiting room or temporarily lose connectivity, refrain from yelling out, “son of a nutcracker!” As long as you entered the Expo Logic waiting room prior to 9:00 AM (PST), you can easily return via the waiting room link and re-enter your registration code. Removal from the waiting room will not impact your chances of being randomly selected for a registration session.

Your personal registration code will only authorize one device and one browser to enter the waiting room. Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny-muggin and attempt to enter it on multiple devices and browsers! Doing so will authorize the most recent device the registration code was entered on, and your previous device will be unauthorized. Registration codes are good for one entry into the waiting room only. If you and Mr. Narwhal will be using the same computer, use a different browser for each registration code. DO NOT use different tabs within the same browser.

We highly suggest only joining a well-organized buying group. You’ll need a good communication process to be successful. Buying groups can be helpful, but we've seen an increasing number of people get shut out due to disorganized efforts and lack of communication. Be wary of any groups that smell like beef and cheese! Once a Member ID is used in a registration session, it is locked for 15 minutes or until the session is closed. If your Member ID is used by someone in your group, you will not be able to use it if you are also selected for a registration session.

Stranger danger! Your personal registration code is embedded in your waiting room URL. Do not post pictures of your waiting room or registration session online, or someone (probably Miles Finch) will be able to use your code to enter and your session will expire.

Make sure to use a laptop or desktop computer that doesn’t have 11 cookies crammed in it. Also, Comic-Con cannot guarantee that mobile devices (including iPads, other tablets, etc.) will behave as expected.

You did it! Congratulations! Great job everybody! It’s great to meet you! You made it through this lesson about registration codes. We also suggest that you read all of the information here.
