The Toys That Made Us

Discuss  :D

I grew up on Star Wars and GI Joe and Transformers.  That being said.  The most entertaining episode of the first four IMO is the He-Man origin.

Thoughts ?

Yep. He-Man is the best episode. So much fun and nostalgia.
I did enjoy the Barbie one as well. Never knew the history so that was interesting to find out.

Also we must talk about the woman's chair... you know which one ;)

That was a pretty awesome show.  My favorite was the Star Wars one but thought they were all really good.  He-Man one was probably the most entertaining :)

I didn't see the chair at first, but when I did, I couldn't look away-as much as I wanted to!  ???

Agreed!

Does anyone know when the other four episodes come out? I had heard it was an 8 part series.

No release date has been set for the final four episodes, but the team has said on Facebook they should be out sometime in the next four months.

I have watched the Barbie and Star Wars shows so far and what great fun!  I remember chasing down Transformers toys, rushing with the crowd of moms to rip them off the shelves for my son.  It was kind of fun...and harrowing.  I lived in NYC and that was not for the faint of heart.  Ah, the cherished memories of the toys of my early motherhood.

I think now days, people dont go all crazy for anything like years past lol. i dont know of any toy past years that every felt they needed except like hatchables, or game box remade, or anythng i might have missed or forgot. toys now just sit untill they cheaper i notice that lol. saw a staue like figure was 5 and in basket rest of toys but didnt theink they sale but of course come back and it was shoved to front of store and boom sold lol. so learned lesson. remember where scanners are to check a price and feel like u scored if it something u want really bad lol. but guessing now traffic get for own want or to ebay the toy later like anyone else does lol i guess.
