Amazon will be bringing a number of their original shows to this year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC), to be held October 6th – 9th.

On Thursday, October 6th, the Amazon Presents panel, at 1:30 pm in Room 1A06, will showcase Sneaky Pete (including Giovanni Ribisi and Graham Yost), The Tick (including Ben Edlund and Barry Josephson), as well as a sneak peek of the new show Patriot. The panel will be moderated by Jamie Hector (from Bosch) and include a special announcement from Gale Ann Hurd, producer of The Tick. Hurd is best known for working on the Walking Dead and Fear: The Walking Dead shows. Following the Amazon Presents panel will be an autograph signing at 4:30 pm.

On Saturday, October 8th at 1:30 pm in the Hammerstein Ballroom, Amazon will host a Man in the High Castle panel, featuring cast members Alexa Davalos, Rufus Sewell, Brennan Brown and DJ Quails, as well as executive producer David W. Zucker. The trailer for season 2 of the show will be debuted at this panel. Later the same day, there will be an autograph signing at 6:00 pm.

In addition to these events, Amazon will be hosting a Man in the High Castle VR Experience at their booth #1ECC1 in Hall 1E of the Javitz Center. This VR event will be running throughout the convention. FoCC Tip: The same experience was showcased at an offsite location during San Diego Comic Con this year, to good reviews, so if you are interested, you are advised to line up early.

Here are a brief synopsis of the shows to be highlighted during the panels:
The Tick, an offbeat and dark superhero tale based on the acclaimed comic, stars Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy), Griffin Newman (Vinyl), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), Valorie Curry (House of Lies), Yara Martinez (Jane the Virgin) and Brendan Hines (Scorpion). The series is executive produced by Ben Edlund (Supernatural), Barry Josephson (Bones) and Barry Sonnenfeld (A Series of Unfortunate Events).

Sneaky Pete, starring Giovanni Ribisi, comes from an acclaimed creative team including Executive Producers Graham Yost (Justified), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and James Degus (All the Way). The pilot episode, currently available on Amazon Prime Video and featuring a special appearance by Cranston, was directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) who also executive produces the show.

Patriot follows the complicated life of intelligence officer John Tavner, played by Michael Dorman (Wonderland). The series also stars Terry O’Quinn (Lost), Michael Chernus (Manhattan Project), Kathleen Munroe (Call Me Fitz), Aliette Opheim (Sandor slash Ida), and Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show). Patriot is written and directed by Steven Conrad (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Weather Man), and executive produced by Conrad, Gil Bellows (Temple Grandin), Glen Ficarra (Crazy Stupid Love, Focus), Charlie Gogolak (Focus), and John Requa (Crazy Stupid Love, Focus).

Based on this lineup fans of Amazon’s original programming will have a lot to enjoy at this NYCC.
