Starring Will Smith along with an ensemble casts of talented actors, Collateral Beauty is one of the feel-good movies of the year that delivers a heart-warming experience. This is a story that can be appreciated by everyone, the true meaning of Collateral Beauty. From the progressive story and narrative dialogues, we dive into the story and the important message the movie has to offer. It has an element of both ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ story combined, except in a more contemporary setting. Adding to it is the subtle Christmas theme to make the occasion memorable.

Will Smith also showed us once again why he’s one of the greatest actors of all time throughout this movie. His performance showed great emotions that only Will Smith can pull off, during each encounter with the other actors in the film. We enjoyed the light-humor of his character’s experiences and the emotional scenes that we empathize with. This is a performance that Will Smith is famous for being able to pull off onscreen.

What also makes this movie engaging is the on-screen dynamic that Will Smith has with the rest of his casts; from: Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Michael Pena, Naomie Harris, Jacob Latimore, Kate Winslet, and Helen Mirren. As each of the characters are distinguished from the different elements of Howard’s life, we come to understand from the dialogue and the characters in their roles that they’re intended to fulfill . The engaging conversation from each of the actors (characters) demonstrates an effort and motivation to lift the spirit of Will’s character. The only differences is the role of each of the characters and the impact they left.

In the end, this is one movie that can be appreciated by anyone. The movie offers a great message on how to cope with death experiences, and inspire love to make anyone stronger as time goes by. If you’re a fan of Will Smith’s movie, this will be one you’ll definitely need to watch and appreciate for his and the rest of the casts ensemble performances.
