Hangout 3/11: WonderCon Panels, WalkerStalker, Media & News

from An Englishman’s site:

“…we’ll do it live, goddammit! We’ll do it live!!”

WonderCon is getting closer and closer, and more and more information is coming out of the preparation of the event courtesy of Comic-Con International, including fresh news about the programming tracks of the weekend. On this weeks episode, Leonard Sultana and Alyssa Franks (Friends Of Comic Con Forum) take a look at what WonderCon has in store in Anaheim, in terms of its live panels and presentations.

Leonard will be joining the show from London’s Olympia, which is hosting this weekends Walker Stalker Con, run by James Frazer‘s company and attended by rafts of incredible talents from shows like THE WALKING DEAD, THE 100 and more. Here’s hoping some may be sticking around for the bitter end!

All of this, as well as our usual features on Week In TV and the latest con culture headlines – should be one hell of a blast. We hope you can join us live!

It is the bleeping time change, upside down show!
Leonard ran late so Michael Pea and I discuss the upcoming week in TV
Moved into Wonder Con programming, Leonard was able to join us part way through this segment.
We wrap up with the weeks news-Toy’s R us closing, Favreau doing a Star Wars project, and Liefeld’s Extreme Universe being bought by Netflix…

Alyssa bought her first comic at age 7 and was hooked. She has collected comics most of her life. Recently, she has branched out to comic art and books and the occasional Lego set. She goes to as many cons as she can and enjoys the 'long form' storytelling of the television medium. She is also a foodie and is always up for trying new and different food.
