If you have ever visited San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and done Hall H, especially on a Saturday, you’ll know that Marvel Studios likes to put on a massive show to showcase the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). For 2018, Phase 4 is on everyone’s minds due to Avengers: Infinity War hitting theaters on April 27. You know, the one movie that will ‘supposedly’ change everything in the MCU. So, what will the studio present at this year’s Hall H panel? Well, you may have to wait a bit longer. Just like in 2015, Marvel Studios is skipping Hall H.
At today’s Avengers: Infinity War press conference, the press got a chance to meet the cast and crew and, of course, Kevin Feige as well. Kyle Buchanan (the senior editor at New York Magazine and Vulture) got told by Feige himself that Marvel Studios won’t be doing Hall H this year. According to Buchanan on Twitter, this decision was to “Let the dust settle from INFINTY WAR.” A Marvel booth will be on the floor at SDCC, however. (A photo of that tweet is located below.)
Now, while this is coming from Fiege, let’s wait for something official from SDCC and Marvel Studios. Overall, only time will tell as we get closer to July.
