by Miclpea
From The Bridge, a documentary about the evolution of fandom, will present a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 19th in Ballroom 20 at 10 a.m. The documentary is narrated by George Takei (Star Trek) and includes interviews with luminaries of the science fiction, comics, and horror genres. The panel will be moderated by Greg Grunberg (Heroes) with panel members including Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek), writer-director Spencer Lee ( From The Bridge), producer Rod Roddenberry (Earth: Final Conflict), Kerry O’Quinn (Down with David), producer Tom DeSanto (X-Men), Cecil Grimes (cosplayer extraordinaire) and some very special guests. With these extraordinary panelists, attendees can expect a lively discussion about the evolution of fandom and possibly where it is going in the future. Also, those attending the panel will be treated to scenes from the documentary which will include never before seen archival footage. It promises to be both fun and highly informative.

If you are planning to attend this panel, make sure to add it to your San Diego Comic-Con app or, if you are old school, add it to your spreadsheet.
