Next Week in TV 9/23: The Return of ‘The Gifted’ and More!

By Mario Wario, Alyssa, and DRWHO42

With fall officially in the air, the TV world will see the return of many fan favorites with the newcomers butting in as well. So buckle up, the fall premieres are coming!

On Monday, The Big Bang Theory is back for a 12th time at 8:00pm ET on CBS. Just know that this new season will be the final one for the cast and crew of this long-running television series, but until then, each new episode will be airing each Thursday night. Staying with The Big Bang Theory universe, fans can also catch the second season premiere of Young Sheldon at 8:30pm ET.

Over on NBC, a brand-new series called Manifest will be taking off at 10:00pm ET. In this premiere, the crew and passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 must deal with the consequences of arriving ‘late’ by five years. This series (sort of) has The Langoliers feel to it, since that 1995 miniseries also had a plane go through a time rift with everyone onboard dealing with the consequences of that adventure. Overall, check out the article on Manifest by our very own Miclpea and tune in to see if it is something you would like to watch this fall.

Also debuting on Monday will be the Magnum P.I. reboot at 9:00pm ET on CBS.

On Tuesday, all mutants will unite to watch second season premiere of Fox’s The Gifted at 8:00pm ET. But for now, which side will you support: Inner Circle or Mutant Underground?

Staying with the Marvel theme, Netflix just announced that season three of Daredevil will air on October 19th.

Friday will be the day to see the third season finale of Syfy’s Wynonna Earp at 9:00pm ET, as well as the second season finale of Outcast but at 10:00pm on Cinemax. (As for everything else airing this week, check the listing down below to know more.)

Until next time, please join the TV conversation by visiting the FoCC Forum. Have a great week!
