Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) is the largest pop culture event in the Pacific Northwest, and has been slowly starting to draw a national eye over the last couple of years. This year’s show, to be held March 14-17, features a new first. AMC has announced the screening of two different premiere episodes during the con.
On Saturday, March 16, from 1:30-2:30 pm in room 611 of the Washington State Convention Center (WSCC), the Into The Badlands season premiere will be aired. The show is entering its final season on Sunday, March 24, so fans will get a chance to view the episode more than a week early.
Following shortly thereafter, from 2:45-3:45 pm, also in WSCC 611, will be the premiere screening of AMC’s new supernatural series, NOS4A2, starring Zachary Quinto as an evil, soul-sucking monster who sends the spiritual remains of the children he eats to the terrifying Christmasland. The show is based on the 2013 novel by Joe Hill. NOS4A2 will not air on AMC until summer, so this is a great chance for fans to get a sneak peek at this new show, months ahead of its official premiere.
