AMC Unveils NOS4A2 and Into the Badlands at C2E2

By Miclpea

The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, more commonly known as C2E2, is the largest pop culture event in the Midwest. This year, as part of C2E2’s amazing programming, AMC will be screening the pilot episode of the highly anticipated NOS4A2. Also, AMC will be showing the premiere episode of the final season of Into the Badlands, the phenomenal martial arts series. The screening will be followed by a panel with Into the Badlands series’ star and executive producer, Daniel Wu (Sunny); executive producers, showrunners and writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The panel will be moderated by Mo Ryan.

The screening and panel for Into the Badlands will occur on March 23 in Room S404 in the south building of McCormick Place at 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. This is the final season of Into the Badlands. Hopefully, fans will discover the final fate of Sunny, his son-Henry, Bajie, M.K., Moon, Lydia, the Master, and the Widow.

The pilot episode for NOS4A2 will be shown on March 23, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm on the Main Stage. NOS4A2 stars Zachery Quinto as an evil immortal being, Charlie Manx, who feeds off the souls of children. Ashleigh Cummings stars as Vic McQueen, who is a gifted young woman with the supernatural ability to find lost things. She ultimately comes in conflict with Manx when she tries to rescue the children.

If you are attending C2E2, both of these screenings will definitely be worth your time. If you are not attending C2E2, follow the discussion on the FOCC blog to see what I thought of NOS4A2. You know I love Into the Badlands.

Into the Badlands will open with a two-night premiere event starting Sunday, March 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT before moving to its regular timeslot on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET /9:00 p.m. CT. The final six episodes will air in the following weeks.

NOS4A2 will premiere in the summer of 2019.
