Next Week in TV 3/3: ‘Good Girls’, ‘The Order’, and More

By Scott, DRWHO42, & Alyssa

The Oscars, The Gifted, three FBI-themed shows, and others dominated the airwaves last week. So, what about next week?

Sunday, March 3rd sees the return of NBC’s Good Girls at 10 p.m. ET. The show’s creator/executive producer Jenna Bans told Variety that season two is going to be “much darker, much bolder” in tone, and that the three main characters will be pushed to the max. But do not worry, the show will remain funny. That one key ingredient is not going anywhere.

The season finale of TNT’s limited series I Am the Night airs on Monday, March 4th at 9 p.m. ET. Hopefully this finale will be a good one for Chris Pine and company!

The second spring finale of Freeform’s Grown-ish airs on Wednesday, March 6th at 8 p.m. ET. Do note that the series was renewed by Freeform, which means season three is incoming.

Are you a fan of werewolves and magic? Then how about watching the series premiere of The Order on Thursday, March 7th on Netflix. In this new horror/fantasy show, a son wants to avenge his mom’s death, so he pledges to a secret order to do just that. Yet by doing so, our main character will be caught in a war between werewolves and dark magicians. So, good luck kid!

Netflix has another fantasy show premiering called Immortals, which airs on Friday, March 8th. In this Netflix Original series, a human-turned-vampire is on a mission to kill an evil vampire, who’s looking for a way to gain immortality.

Also debuting on Friday is Cartoon Network’s DC Super Hero Girls at 6 p.m. ET. In this new animated TV show, DC fans will be introduced to the high school/teenage versions of Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Batgirl, Zatanna, and Jessica Cruz. Do note that this is a one-hour series premiere.

By the way, Star Trek: Discovery, Strike Back, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, all three were renewed last week. Yet season seven will be Strike Back’s last.

The complete TV schedule is listed below so don’t forget to check it out, and do let us know what you will be watching by posting away when visiting the FoCC forums. Until next time, have a great week!
