Next Week in TV 3/17: ‘Black Lightning’ Finale, ‘The Act’ on Hulu, and More

By Mario Wario, DRWHO42, Alyssa

Okay TV fans let’s see what next week has in store for us all.

And starting things off next week will be the season finale of Netflix’s Romance is a Bonus Book, which will air Sunday morning (March 17th). Later that day, Cartoon Network’s DC Super Hero Girls will be airing at its new time, which is 4 p.m. ET.

AMC’s Ride With Norman Reedus rides into the sunset, thanks to the show’s third season finale airing on Monday, March 18th at 12 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the second season finale of Black Lightning airs on the CW at 9 p.m. An hour later, ABC will broadcast the season premiere of The Fix at 10 p.m. In this new drama series, a Los Angeles district attorney gets a second chance in going after a famous film actor, who is under trial once again for murder. The last time she went after this movie star, the city’s district attorney lost the trial but hopefully things will be different this time.

The Village, meanwhile, premieres on NBC on Tuesday, March 19th at 10:01 p.m. ET. In it, audiences will watch the lives of a select few who must deal with certain real-life problems, in this close-knit apartment building in Brooklyn. Of course, this bond will get tested along the way.

The Act debuts on Wednesday (March 20th) on Hulu which will use real crime stories to entertain TV fans. In The Act, the first season will see a girl trying to leave her mother’s over controlling care, but by doing so, it will lead to another situation that will change her life for good. This crime drama television series will be using the Gypsy Rose Blanchard life story for season one.

Also on Wednesday will be the season finale of Syfy’s Deadly Class, which will air at 10 p.m. ET.

Now if you want something out of this world, then how about watching the series debut of Critters: A New Binge next Thursday (March 21st) on Shudder. Yes, the Critters are back to cause trouble who are looking for a buddy of theirs in Burbank, California. Of course, the people living in this city will have to deal with these creatures running amok.

And lastly, Netflix and Amazon will be the streaming services to visit next week, thanks to a large number of TV shows/movies dropping on Friday morning (March 22nd).
