Next Week in TV 3/24: ‘Into the Badlands’ and ‘Happy!’ are Back, and More

By Mario Wario, DRWHO42, & Alyssa

Is March driving you into madness due to all the basketball games airing on TV? Well don’t fret, the blog is here to save the day!

Let’s begin by pointing out that the third (spring) season premiere of AMC’s Into the Badlands will air on Sunday, March 24th at 10 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, fans can catch another new episode on Monday, March 25th at 10 p.m. ET as well. By the way, stay tuned for Michael Pea’s future Into the Badlands articles that will highlight the series a bit more, and also know that the third season is the show’s last. Do note that Talking Dead will have a brand-new episode, but at a different time (11 p.m. ET) on Sunday.

Also returning on Monday will be History’s Knightfall at 10 p.m. ET. Likewise, with Syfy’s Happy! but you can catch that return on Wednesday, March 27th at 10 p.m. ET.

Fast-forwarding to Friday morning (March 29th), many with a Prime membership can watch the series debut of Amazon’s new show Hanna. In this new online series, which is based on the 2011 movie of the same name, fans will meet the character Hanna, a brave teenager who is on the run from an off-book CIA agent. Along the way she will find the truth about her past; the purpose of her being alive, as well as why she is being hunted down.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet is back from its hiatus yet Cinemax’s Strike Back says “mission accomplished” to season six at 10 p.m. ET. It should be noted that next season will be the show’s last Op (we mean final season … at least for now).

And finally, coming out of nowhere, TV fans got word that The CW’s Supernatural series will be ending next season, which will be the show’s 15th. The main stars (Jared Padalecki, Misha Collinsm, and Jensen Ackles) notified their fans about this news last Friday on social media.

So, what will you be watching? Let us know by joining the conversation over on the FoCC forums, and as always, next week’s TV schedule is listed below.
