Next Week in TV 3/31: Exploring a new zone … The Twilight Zone

By DRWHO42, Mario Wario, & Alyssa

The upcoming week in television is a packed with a variety of options to choose from ranging from frozen zombies to witchcraft. First up is the ninth season finale for The Walking Dead. We were still sorting through the emotions from last week’s episode. Be sure to check out Transmute Jun’s recap article which provides a overview of the episode and her thoughts on what had transpired.

The spotlight will shine brightly on CBS All Access this week with the series premiere of The Twilight Zone. Jordon Peele’s take on this classic series has been generating a lot of positive buzz and we are looking for to checking it out.

We were impressed with Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger last year and we are looking forward to Oliva Holt and Aubrey Joseph returning for this second season of this series. This week is a two-hour premiere and we anticipate our heroes will continue to hone their powers while dealing with a new threat on the horizon.

For a change of pace Anime fans should add Netflix’s Ultraman to their list. Another series to mark on your list is Cinemax’s Warrior which premieres Friday night. The series, which is set in post-civil war San Francisco, is particularly of interest if you are a fan of martial arts or enjoyed Banshee.

Lastly, Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns for its second season this week. Kiernan Shipka is perfect in her role as Sabrina and we anticipate a lot of interesting twists this upcoming season. Riverdale fans are hoping for a cross-over at some point in the future but only time will tell.

That’s all for this week, however, the conversation does not stop here. Click here to join the conversation on the FoCC forum. Happy viewing all!
