The San Diego Comic-Con hotel lottery has you down due to not getting a downtown hotel yet? Saw an Avengers: Endgame spoiler online and now mad at the world? Well, don’t worry because your friendly, neighborhood TV will help you through these troubled times, and next week is looking mighty fine in the content arena.
Let’s Begin with the HBO/BBC eight-episode series called Gentleman Jack which will debut on Monday, April 22nd at 10 p.m. ET on HBO. In this new show, which is set in 1832 West Yorkshire, England, the series itself will use real-life stories/coded journals of Anne Lister (which is being played by Suranne Jones), and many will see how Lister tries to “Revitalize her inherited home, Shibdhen Hall.” Her mission will affect her family’s ‘fate’ that include reopening many coal mines, and to find a wife.
On Tuesday, April 23rd, The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico season finale will air at 9 p.m. ET (no word of season two as of now). As for Wednesday, April 24th, the complete second season of Cobra Kai will debut on YouTube in the morning.
Thursday, April 25th, will see three finales airing on this day. First, Gotham will say goodbye to its fans, thanks to the series finale airing at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Also at eight will be the fourteenth season finale of The CW’s hit show Supernatural, which will end next season. Finally, Fox’s The Orville will have its second season finale air at 9 p.m. ET, and as of this writing, fans are still awaiting word of a third season. The blog truly believes the show will be renewed unless noted.
The complete second season of Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will debut on Friday, April 26th.
Sadly, it was announced last week by Fox that they have decided to not renew The Gifted and Rel. Although there’s a chance that Disney, which owns 20th Century Fox TV, could save The Gifted. But we shall see.
Lastly, Disney Channel’s Big Hero 6 The Series, NBC’s Manifest, Fox’s Last Man Standing, and Hulu’s Shrill have recently been renewed.
Of course, next week’s complete TV schedule is listed below for your enjoyment but do remember that the TV conversation does not stop here. You can keep the chat going by visiting the FoCC forum. We will see you there, have fun watching Avengers: Endgame this week, and have a great Easter Sunday!
