By Mario Wario

Calling all SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) fans going to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2019. Nickelodeon has announced their plans for SDCC, and wow, does it look good!

Nickelodeon is currently celebrating 20 years of SpongeBob SquarePants and they want to bring that celebration to this year’s SDCC. Fans are invited to enter a world called the Bikini Bottom, located at the 1,800 square-foot Nickelodeon booth on the convention floor (#4113). There will be autograph signings at the booth, as well as multiple interactive zones such as The Krusty Krab, The Chum Bucket and Mrs. Puff’s Boating School.

There will also be a SpongeBob panel called “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout.” The guest lineup includes co-executive producers Vincent Waller and Marc Ceccarelli, as well as voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) and Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs).

For TMNT fans, Nickelodeon will be hosting a panel called “To Shell and Back”, about the history of TMNT, with co-executive producers Andy Suriano and Ant Ward (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), executive producer Ciro Nieli (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles); and legendary TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman. Of course, there will also be giveaways and autograph signings at the Nickelodeon booth.

Finally, Nickelodeon merchandise will be available at the booth.
