Next Two Weeks in TV 7/14 & 7/21: ‘Pandora’, ‘The Boys’, ‘Veronica Mars’ and More

By Scott, DRWHO42 & Alyssa

San Diego Comic-Con is next week, which means the blog is going to be very busy covering the event. Because of this, the listing (below) will have two weeks listed, not just one because there will be no TV article next Sunday. As for the next two weeks, here are some of the highlights that caught our attention.

For science fiction fans, The CW’s Pandora (Tuesday, July 16; 8 p.m. ET) and Netflix’s Another Life (Thursday, July 25; 3:01 a.m. ET) will give fans something neat to watch this July. For example, Another Life stars Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica, Riddick) and it is all about interstellar travel. Pandora will see a young woman enlisting in Earth’s “Space Training Academy”; all about defending our galaxy from “intergalactic threats.”

For superhero fans, Amazon will be the home for The Boys (Friday, July 26; 3:01 a.m. ET). The series is about what happens when superheroes go bad, which means those without superpowers will try to find the truth about “The Seven” and their backer.

Returning for it’s 5th season is SYFY’s Killjoys on Friday, July 19. To say we’re thrilled is an understatement. The cliffhanger end of season 4 was traumatic to say the least!! Finally we will get answers, which means the showrunners (thankfully) knew the series was ending; they were able to craft a fitting end. As such, we’re looking forward to their excellent story telling one more time! <—-understatement

Have something to say regarding the next two weeks of television? If you do then visit the FoCC forum to join the conversation, and don’t forget to look at the new TV listing, as well as our picks below. Once the con is over, everything will be back to normal.
