ECCC 2020 is Coming

by Transmute Jun

In less than six weeks, Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) will be here! The Seattle con, to be held March 12-15, 2020, is fast approaching, and ReedPop has already released a lot of information about the upcoming show.

The program schedule is now live. While it was a bit sparse at first, it is filling in more each day, particularly the Main Stage schedule, as new guests are announced.

Speaking of new guests, ECCC has announced a separately-ticketed Back to the Future reunion panel, featuring Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Leah Thompson and Tom Wilson. Tickets start at $20 for general admission, and go up to $999 (which includes seating in the first two rows, as well as photo ops and autographs with all of the guests). UPDATE: These tickets will be on sale February 6.

Autograph and photo-op sales (for all con guests) are coming. The pre-sale for celebrity VIP badge holders begins February 5, with the public on-sale date sure to come soon after. Jim Lee packages are currently available.

The exhibitor list is now live. Check out all of the great booths you’ll be able to find on the floor!

Funko is poised to make a triumphant return to ECCC. Those who want a reserved chance to purchase exclusives can enter the Funko lottery beginning February 3. Attendees will also be able to enter a lottery to purchase FiGPiN exclusives, beginning February 3.

The Main Stage is back at the Hyatt this year, while the Sheraton will now play host to a new Pop Asia section of the con, with a focus on k-pop, anime and manga.

Badges for all days except Saturday are still available, as are hotel rooms. If you want to attend ECCC, now is the time to act!
