By Scott C. & DRWHO42

So, you have nothing to watch for the week ahead and are behind in some recent entertainment news, too? Well, you are at the right place for the latest information!

The Walking Dead 10th season returns for some more zombie mayhem one week sooner over on AMC+. There will also be a one-hour special on AMC about the Walking Dead extended tenth season on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Fox tries again on Sunday with its Animation Domination programming returning from a winter break. The times for each animation show are listed below in the listing. Last Sunday’s nightly schedule on Fox was changed when the Daytona 500 had a rain delay.

The CW’s Superman & Lois series ‘crashes’ on planet Earth this Tuesday, February 23rd, to debut at 8 p.m. ET. As you can guess, it will follow the Man of Steel (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), but as parents in Smallville. Of course, you can expect trouble along the way for our two main characters. After the 90-minute premiere, you can catch the Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope special airing at 9:30 p.m.

On Thursday, February 25th, if you hunger for some anime, do know that Netflix has High-Rise Invasion premiering on that day. The anime itself is about a high school student, Yuri Honjo, finding herself trying to survive in an “Abnormal space where countless skyscrapers are connected by suspension bridges and ‘masked figures’ who mercilessly slaughter their confused and fleeing victims.”

On Friday, February 26th, families at home will have opportunity to watch an animated cat and mouse living in the real world while staying at a New York City hotel. HBO Max will have Tom & Jerry: The Movie and the film stars Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-AssThe 5th Wave) and Michael Peña (Ant-ManFury), and it was directed by Tim Story. The film is rated PG and will also be released in theaters on February 26th.

Also on February 26th, but on Apple TV+, is Dickinson‘s 2nd season finale if you needed a friendly reminder about that one.

As always, the week’s listing is below. It will have more shows and movies listed, so check it out. You never know, you could find a hidden gem.

Now, in some recent television news, we TV fans found out that Marvel Studios just got back the rights for The Punisher and Jessica Jones from Netflix; actor John Wesley Shipp (The FlashDawson’s Creek) is guest-starring as Jay Garrick in season two of The CW’s Stargirl. Also, Actor Jennifer Garner (Alias13 Going on 30) will be producing and starring in Netflix’s Family Leave, while CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans series will end with season seven. CBS’ Mom is another show ending with season eight being the last one.

Bad Robot, meanwhile, is working on a reboot of DC’s Constantine for HBO Max. Guy Bolton will be the writer.

Director Tim Burton is entering the TV directing world for the first time by being the director for the live-action Wednesday Addams series for Netflix. The series will have Wednesday as a student at Nevermore Academy.

Netflix announced today the release date of May 21st for Zack Snyder’s zombie-based heist film, Army of the Dead. The film follows a group of mercenaries as they head to a zombie-infested Las Vegas to pull of robbery. The cast includes Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, and Tig Notaro. Synder is not a novice when it comes to zombie films with 2004’s Dawn of the Dead under his belt and we look forward to seeing the final product.

Lastly, in movie news, actor Sasha Calle (The Young and the RestlessThe White Shoes) has been cast as Supergirl for the upcoming DCEU Flash movie.
