Next Week in TV 5/2: No Bad Batches Here: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Jupiter’s Legacy, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch

By Scott C. & DRWHO42

Welcome to May, everyone.

The month gets going with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow back for season 6 on Sunday (May 2nd) on The CW at 8 p.m. ET. Also, take note that Batwoman will now be airing at 9 p.m. ET on The CW instead of 8 p.m.

On May 4th, which is Star Wars Day, this day will see the Disney+ premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch early Tuesday morning (3 a.m. ET). The new animated Star Wars series will focus on a particular clone squad, Clone Force 99, with the story set after the events of the Clone Wars. Fans can watch brand-new episodes every Friday morning (12 a.m. ET) beginning on May 7th. Overall, may the ‘fourth’ be with you.

Meanwhile, NBC’s Manifest will have another double dose this week with back-to-back episodes starting at 8 p.m. ET this Thursday (May 6th). Apple TV+ has Ghostwriter concluding its second season and Mythic Quest returning for a second season this Friday morning (12 a.m. ET), while CBS’ Magnum P.I. wraps up its third season this Friday at 9 p.m. ET. Lastly, Netflix’s Jupiter’s Legacy debuts Friday (3:00 a.m. ET) and it is about the first generation of superheroes dealing with life’s drama.

In some recent television news, the world found out that Amazon Studios has renewed Invincible for two more seasons (2 and 3), while the third season of The Boys is currently well in production as of this writing.

The second part of season 5 of Lucifer debuts May 28th on Netflix, while DC FanDome is coming back this October 16th. Ms. Marvel fans, meanwhile, got a first look at Kamala Khan’s live-action suit with some leaked photos showing actress Iman Vellani in the suit. Do note that the Ms. Marvel series set to debut on Disney+ later this year.

That is all for this week! Until next time, please let us know what you will be watching when visiting the FoCC forum. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Don’t forget to look at our picks for the week and the listing below.
