Next Week In TV 10/10: Heroes return to the Fall TV Lineup with The Equalizer, Batwoman, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

By DRWHO42 & Scott C.

We are in the midst of great fall television season that’s filled with greater offerings. As such, the current season will allow us all to escape from reality for a few hours.

The action kicks off with the second season premiere of CBS’ The Equalizer on Sunday evening, starring Queen Latifah. Later Sunday evening, The Walking Dead wraps up the first batch of episodes of its final season on AMC. The company announced recently that the series will return for the second part of its three-part series finale on February 20, 2022.

Also, returning are CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles and Seal Team on Sunday.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman return Wednesday for their 7th and 3rd seasons, respectively, on The CW. Also, Legacies returns on Thursday on The CW.

If your plans for the weekend are open, you can add Amazon Prime’s I Know What You Did Last Summer to your viewing list. The series is based on the movies of the same name and, based on the trailer, looks very promising.

There are also several season finales sprinkled throughout the week. First, both Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+) and Awkwafina is Nora From Queens (Comedy Central) wrap up their second seasons this week. Of course, we are looking forward to their return for more lighthearted humor.

Then fan favorites Evil (Paramount+) and See (Apple TV+) will also wrap their second seasons this week along with Roswell, New Mexico closing out its third season.

Of course, the listing below will have the times and dates of everything mentioned above, and those that were not.

In television news this week, it has been nothing short of exciting. For instance, the BBC announced the 13th season premiere for Doctor Who is October 31st. Meanwhile, the premiere dates of the final seasons of Lost in Space and The Expanse were announced: Lost in Space debuts on December 1st on Metflix and The Expanse debuts on December 10th on Amazon Prime.

Lastly, coming off another successful limited horror series run with Midnight Mass, Netflix has given Mike Flanagan the greenlight for The Fall of the House of Usher. The series, which will be comprised of eight episodes, will be based on Edgar Allen Poe’s short story about an isolated country manor full of secrets, death, and madness. Flanagan and his writing team do have a proven track record of character-focused storytelling, and frightful elements, which should keep you on the edge of your seat. As such, we look forward to seeing the series when its is released.

That’s all for this week. As always, please let us know what you will be watching when visiting the FoCC forum. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
