Next Week in TV 6/26: The Adventure Continues With Stranger Things, and the Return to Westworld

The week leading up to the 4th of July holiday weekend has a lot of exciting television to enjoy.
The week kicks off with the 4th season premiere of Westworld. Early reviews have been mostly positive heading into this upcoming season, although we look forward to watching it ourselves at 9 p.m. Eastern on HBO.
Mid-week there are a couple of season finales to put on your radar. Superman & Lois cap off its second spectacular season on Tuesday (8 p.m. Eastern), and The Flash wraps up its 8th season this Wednesday (8 p.m. Eastern). There is a sigh of relief from fans of both series, since both shows are set to return next season.
If you are looking for a movie to enjoy while unwinding for the evening, we recommend adding Blasted to your viewing queue. Premieres on Netflix this Tuesday, this Norwegian import centers on two childhood friends who stumble upon an alien invasion while attending a bachelor party. What could go wrong, yes?
Capping off the week is the debut of Volume II of Stranger Things’ fourth season, and this second parter will only be two episodes. Yet expect longer run times for each compared to what Volume I had. We have also heard teases of peril for our gang of friends from recent cast interviews. So, we are getting prepared for anything once things get rolling this week.
Over on Prime, Chris Pratt returns to series television with Terminal List on Friday. Based on the novel of the same name, the series centers on a Navy SEAL, Commander James Reece (Pratt), who seeks to uncover why his squad of SEALs got killed during a covert operation. But he soon finds out there is a larger conspiracy at play. The series also stars Constance Wu (Fresh off the Boat), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Midnight Sun), Taylor Kitsch (Battleship), Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad), and LaMonica Garrett (The Monitor from the Arrowverse).
Quickly in the news world. We found out that Marvel Studios is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Tom Cavanagh (The Flash) is going to direct the season three premiere of Superman & Lois, and the animated series Harley Quinn and its third season releases this July on HBO Max.
