Next Week in TV 7/10: What We Do In The Shadows and Better Call Saul Return

By DRWHO42 & Scott C.

Summer is in full swing, and as we return to the couch after a fun day out, there is plenty of summer programming to enjoy airing soon.

If you are into marine life, National Geographic has several shark-themed documentaries and programs lined up this week, including one titled Shark Beach featuring Thor’s Chris Hemsworth, airing Wednesday. We also recommend the four-part documentary series Edge of the Earth, which follows groups of elite athletes going around the globe. Those involved include snowboarders Jeremy Jones and Elena Hight, as well as skier Griffin Post; kayakers Ben Stookesberry, Nouria Newman, and Erik Boomer; climbers Emily Harrington and Adrian Ballinger; and surfers Ian Walsh and Grant “Twiggy” Baker. The trailer for the docu-series was exciting to watch, as we saw each limit pushed physically and mentally.

Better Call Saul returns for its final run this Monday before the series finale in a few weeks. Also, returning this Tuesday is the popular comedy series, What We Do In The Shadows

This week has several offerings for family viewing, including the third installment of Disney’s Zombies, debuting Friday, the series finale of the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel, and the debut of Kung Fu Panda on Netflix.

If you are looking for programming from other countries, Grantchester returns for its seventh season on PBS, and a new season of Silent Witness is debuting on Britbox.

We are adding Resident Evil, which premieres on Netflix this Thursday, to our viewing list. The trailer for this series looks very interesting and, dare we say, killer!

Of course, the listing below will have all the information you will need for the series mentioned above, and several more not talked about.

That is it for this week. Let us know what you will be watching when visiting the FoCC forum. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
