SDCC 2023 Open Registration Date Revealed

Comic Con International (CCI) has announced the date of open registration for San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2023 (to be held July 20-23). The badge sale, which will be open to all attendees with a valid Member ID account (except those who purchased a Preview night badge during returning registration in October) will be held on Saturday, November 5 at 9:00 am Pacific time.

As with returning registration, the waiting room will open at 8:00 am Pacific time. According to CCI’s instructions, fans will have to login to their Member ID accounts before accessing the waiting room. This is the procedure that was intended for use in returning registration, but failed.  Hopefully, this quick turnaround for open registration means that the issue has been resolved, and the system is ready to go as designed. Fans in the waiting room will then be sent to the Queue-It line, as used in returning registration, before accessing the buying page.
