Next Week in TV 11/20: The End of the Road for The Walking Dead, and The Debut of Wednesday!

All things must come to an end. The proverbial end of the road for our favorite zombie apocalypse series, The Walking Dead, is here.
AMC has dedicated Sunday evening’s programming to the finale, starting with a red-carpet event to celebrate the 90-minute series finale, followed by a special Talking Dead with surprise guests expected to appear.
For those who enjoy science-based documentaries, there are two programs to add to your watching list. Discovery is airing a special about the Artemis 1 launch, which lit up the skies over the central Florida coast as the rocket roared into space last week. The launch of this test flight marked a significant point in the space program as it officially kicked off man’s planned return to the Moon. On Sunday evening, recapping this milestone moment in space exploration, the next program is Our Universe, which traces the sources of life on Earth and is hosted by Morgan Freeman; it debuts on Netflix this Tuesday.
Family Guy celebrates its 400th episode this Sunday evening.
Andor wraps up its epic first season this Wednesday, and for those who may not have the Disney+ platform, there will be a chance for you to catch the first episode on ABC this week in a special airing.
Pennyworth wraps its third season this week on HBOMAX along with Chucky wraps, which wraps its second season on SYFY, and Seal Team’s Sixth on Paramount+.
Netflix brings a new chapter in the Addams family story with the debut of Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams. The series is set in Nevermore Academy, which is the school Wednesday is attending as a student. Aside from the challenges of fitting in, she soon uncovers some mysterious events that will lead her to suspect something sinister is going on. The trailers for this series look great, and with the cast including Christina Ricci, Gwendoline Christie, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, we will place this high on our list of recommendations this week.
Thursday’s programming will feature mainstays for the whole family as we gather for the Thanksgiving holiday, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, NFL Football Games, and more … including a new episode of Lego Masters.
Holiday programming started off slowly in the early part of November; however, with the Thanksgiving holiday this week, the programming will shift into high gear. For instance, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special airing Friday evening with the full cast from the movies joining in on the fun for the whole family to enjoy.
In television news, the BBC announced the actress who will be joining Ncuti Gatwa in the TARDIS, and it is Coronation Street alum Millie Gibson. This has certainly been an exciting few weeks for Whovians as we look ahead to the 60th anniversary of the series next year.
And sadly, the Power Rangers community lost one of their favorite Ranger: Jason David Frank, who played Tommy in the Power Rangers franchise. JDF was 49 years old. Of course, our thoughts are with his friends and family. Rest in Peace, JDF. You will be missed by many.
