Next Week in TV 6/11: Boldly Prepare the Return of Strange New Worlds and Outlander, a new TWD Series Debuts

This week in television is filled with the return of fan favorites, but some zombies and Quantumania-making fun, too!
First, Denver Nuggets fans could witness NBA championship history on Monday night if their team gets one more victory at home against the Miami Heat to clinch their first ever title. The action begins at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Nuggets lead the series 3-1.
Wednesday (morning) on Disney+ has another Marvel Studios Assembled special focusing on the making of the third Ant-Man film, Quantumania. Also, Hulu gives the world a new sequel series to the 1997 film The Full Monty, with several of the original stars returning. Yes, the series has the same name as the 1997 film, as well as similar themes, and the first season will have eight episodes and all will be available on release day.
Thursday (morning) has the return of Netflix’s Black Mirror series (sixth season) and the Paramount+ trekking and hip space series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (second season).
The Walking Dead will rule Thursday, though, as the eighth season summer finale of Fear the Walking Dead streams on AMC+. But the series debut of The Walking Dead: Dead City will also be on AMC+, and it centers on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) trying to survive a post-apocalyptic New York City. The new series will have six episodes but both the eighth season summer finale of Fear and the series debut of Dead City will also be on AMC on Sunday, June 18th. More on that next time.
On Friday night (8 p.m. ET), Outlander finally returns with season seven on Starz. Picking up where it left off last season, this season will have two parts, with eight episodes airing first and the other eight airing sometime next year. Sticking with the eight themes, season eight will be the series’ last.
