Con Intel: IMDboat Returns to San Diego for SDCC 2023

Are you heading to San Diego Comic-Con this week? Get ready for a boat party if you are heading to San Diego Comic-Con because the extremely popular IMDbboat will return. Starting Thursday, July 20th ad continuing through Saturday, July 22nd, the yacht (docked at the Fifth Avenue Landing of the marina behind the convention center) will serve as a floating fan experience.
Here is a rundown of what fans and guests can expect:
From Thursday through Saturday (July 20-22), IMDb will invite fans onboard the IMDboat to participate in a variety of activities, including: the LEGO® DREAMZzz world, where guests help build a mystery mural with LEGO bricks; fans can test their movie and TV knowledge, and win prizes in the interactive trivia lounge; the cosplay portrait studio, where visitors can capture a keepsake photo; and enter the oversized Jack Link’s Flamin’ Hot jerky bag, to snap a picture in the digital photo booth and receive free samples.
Fans will enjoy complimentary specialty drinks, including alcoholic beverages for ages 21+, celebrating popular Freevee titles including Alex Rider, Bosch: Legacy, Primo, Jury Duty, and Judy Justice at the Stream & Sip with Freevee Bar. Guests will enjoy refreshments and chilled snacks including frozen bananas and popsicles, and receive swag from IMDboat sponsors, including the LEGO Group, Jack Link’s, Flamin’ Hot, Conair, and Freevee.
Additionally, during the day, Comic-Con attendees on the boardwalk can meet with brand ambassadors to learn about the new LEGO DREAMZzz series and Conair, who will be hosting trivia and games and providing gifting. On Thursday (July 20) from 6:30-9:00 p.m. PDT, IMDb and the LEGO Group will host two family-friendly screenings of the new LEGO DREAMZzz series aboard the boat. Special guests include show voice actors Sarah Jeffrey, Vincent Tong, and industry influencers. Attendees will enjoy refreshments, appetizers, and LEGO gifts, while viewing an episode of the LEGO DREAMZzz series, airing on Prime Video. Space is limited.
