Hulu Animayhem: Enter The 2nd Dimension at SDCC 2023

Are you into adult animation? Hulu has got what you need from July 20th to July 23rd at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) with their wild and crazy Hulu Animayhem experience! The event will be held at the Hilton Bayfront parking lot. Hulu will use 2D drawing styles and optical illusions to create a funny, out of whack 3D activation. Come visit this crazy animated world from 11:30am-7pm (July 20), 9:30am – 7pm (July 21-22) and 9:30am-5pm (July 23). The activation includes experiences from Hulu’s biggest animated hits including:
“The Simpsons”: LIVING ROOM
Guests can lounge around in the legendary living room and watch the gigantic Hulu Animayhem TV, or take a photo for posterity.
“Bob’s Burgers”: GRAND RE-RE-RE OPENING
Step up to the counter and take a picture with the eccentric animated family the Belchers.
“Futurama”: FUTURAMA HAS LANDED ON HULU
Futurama is BACK, debuting their new season on Hulu on Monday, July 24th!
This activation will feature an amazing 55-foot replica of Futurama HQ, next to a crash-landed Planet Express ship. Once inside the HQ, fans will step inside immersive sets for the ultimate photo ops.
“The Great North”: ALANIS BOREALIS
Fans will enter the wondrous Alaskian landscape to join Judy Tobin as she asks her imaginary best friend, 90’s pop icon Alanis Morrisette (AKA god in Dogma) for life advice. Attendees can look to the sky for a projected Alanis constellation that will interact with characters from the show, and maybe we all can pick up some life tips from the wise one.
“Solar Opposites”: INSIDE THE WALL
Fans will enter the 2nd Dimension and find themselves shrunken down and tossed into the beloved Wall. What the Yumyulack!
Season 4 of Solar Opposites premieres on August 14, 2023 with 10 episodes, followed by a Valentine’s Day Special coming in 2024.
“Archer”: WALL OF AGENCY HEROS
This activation will pay tribute to Archer’s famous opening montage, making for an excellent pic.
“American Dad”: HALL OF INFINITE ROGERS
Fans will get a glimpse of Roger’s plethora of disguises, some may say, an infinite supply!
“Family Guy”: 360 TIME TRAVEL & LIVING ROOM
Just as with The Simpsons activation, fans can take a break on this iconic couch and watch “the boob tube,” or walk on Stewie’s infamous Time Travel Pad and take a trip through the 2nd Dimension.
