Next Week in TV 7/30: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Super Mario Bros. Movie, and More!

The blog is back from its San Diego Comic-Con 2023 journey, so it’s time to see what is airing soon. And this week is going to be a light one.
But for anyone who has been waiting for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to hit Disney Plus, well this Wednesday, August 2nd, the wait is finally over. Star-Lord and his galaxy buddies are back to save the day from evil, the blog enjoyed watching the movie earlier this year as the storytelling, cast, and acting were quite good. Of course, so was the soundtrack and a certain good doggy.
Also, on Wednesday and Disney Plus there is an animated series made for younglings called Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, which is having its 1st summer season premiere.
Peacock has a couple of animated plumbing brothers hitting the streaming service: The Super Mario Bros. Movie hits on Thursday, August 3rd. This entertaining animated film was a blast to watch in theaters back in April; thus we are very happy to see it again!
In some recent news: the WGA and SAG strikes are still ongoing, Skyfall is leaving Netflix on July 31st, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is delayed indefinitely, and Donald and Stephen Glover will be writing the Lando series. Lastly, a trailer for season 2 of Loki will drop online on Monday, July 31st.
