Next Week in TV 10/22: Five Nights at Freddy’s, and More Spooky Delights!

Halloween is not that far away, so here are a few spooky delights for the week!
Fear the Walking Dead returns for some 8th-season thrills and treats on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday.
For DC fans on Monday, Max has the Justice League: Warworld animated movie for streaming anytime now. In it, the trinity aka Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, and their allies team up to survive in a world called Warworld. Do note that this animated movie is rated R. And fits the Halloween season due to having some animated blood!
Invasion invades Apple TV+ with its 2nd season finale on Wednesday. Of course, anything science-fiction and alien fits nicely with the Halloween season.
On Friday, The Lego Marvel Avengers series has another treat special called Code Red on Disney+. But the main delight for the week is Five Nights At Freddy’s on Peacock! No, this has nothing to do with Freddy Funko at Funko; this movie is based on the popular video game series Five Nights At Freddy’s. The first video game was released in 2014. The movie is about a security guard working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, which has a ”murderous” mystery connected to its four animatronic mascots. In the opinion of the blog, this new movie (releasing simultaneously in theaters on October 27th) should be perfect for this Halloween season. Let’s hope it is a good movie, though.
Quickly in some news: SAG-AFTRA and the studios will resume talks this Tuesday, October 24th; Deadpool 3 was delayed from its May 2024 release due to the ongoing actor’s strike, Gen V was renewed for a 2nd season at Amazon Prime Video, and Netflix has increased prices for basic and premium.
