SDCC 2024 Early Bird Hotels Now Available

by Transmute Jun

Town & Country Hotel

San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) attracts well over 100,000 people to San Diego each year. Most of these people need a hotel room, and the competition for rooms in the hotel lottery can be fierce.

One way to avoid hotel stress is the Early Bird Hotel Sale. This allows attendees to guarantee a room at a discounted rate. The con is that none of the hotels participating int the Early Bird sale are downtown, all of the cost of the reservation must be paid up from, and there are no cancelations (although there is a little wiggle rooms for date and name changes).

Early Bird hotels are now available for booking via onPeak. Do not book one of these hotels unless you already have a badge for SDCC 2024, as they are non-refundable and do not guarantee a badge in and of themselves.

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

Popular choices include the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina (starting at $256 per night), which is not downtown, but is close enough to walk in a real pinch. The Town & Country hotel (starting at $232 per night) is also a good choice, being both on the shuttle line and also the trolley line.
