If anyone has Hilton Bayside, Mariott, or Hyatt parking passes available for Wednesday-Thursday, PM me. I was in group 5 and am pretty far away and need ADA closer access.

So, in retrospect, I found that by closing Harbor in front of the convention center, they really increased the difficulty of getting into the parking there.  My experience was that waiting in the line of cars who each wanted to argue about being able to go through the coned-off section took an extra ~15 minutes each morning.

So enter the garage via the side entrance by Marriott.  Problem solved.

Did they let you enter that entrance? I know that in past years that at least at 5am, they didn't want to let you in via that entrance.

I used the 6th and Parkade parking garage this year... a couple of good things about that location, even though they weren't supposed to open until 5 am, I was able to park there as early as 4:30 am, also it was on the other side of the tracks so if I was leaving while the train was stopped on the tracks then there was no issue getting into downtown. It was a bit of an extra walk across Harbor but only added 10 minutes or so of walking time each time we needed to get to the car. Still would've preferred to park in the Hilton.

Being that I was at Hall H every day (except Sunday), I always had to be there at the crack of dawn before they closed off Harbor, so it was never an issue for me.  I was there in the early afternoon on Wednesday for Preview Night and I got stuck for 15 minutes.  Anticipating that, I gave myself extra time.

Not sure how people did the overnights using the convention parking. Wasn't that closed at night?

same was true for other ACE parking, we did overnights for Hall H and had to have our car out of the 6th & Parkade by midnight, so we moved it to street parking until about 5 am when we were able to pull pack into the ACE parking for the next day... what a pain, but it seemed to work.

they were supposed to be closed between the hours of midnight and 5 am, but we always moved the car before midnight, however even when I came back as early at 4:30 am for the next day, we were able to get in at that time...

I noticed big lines and people doing U-turns on Harbor by the Bayfront on Thur. On Friday when I parked there(Thanks Madfly) people had got the word and the line wasn't  bad.

None of them do. You're gonna have to move your car by 2am then park it on the street until 5 or 6am.

I did that and sometimes it was much faster and sometimes it was the same.  The traffic police that were supposed to be stopping/starting the pedestrian traffic would occasionally just not let anyone turn right into the driveway for a couple signals, at which time it was about as slow as going straight.
