San Diego Comic Con 2020 goes virtual this year and we’ve already reported that LEGO won’t be doing any panels as confirmed on the schedule. As for the LEGO exclusive, there’s no word on anything but there are rumors floating around Instagram about one that is LEGO Super Mario related. The set is called Toad’s Special Hideaway (77907) and it is priced at $19.99. There’s no details on where it will be sold at but it could be sold online at Target similar to the LEGO Star Wars Celebration 2019 Darth Vader Bust (75227). As always, nothing is confirmed so we’ll see if LEGO does anything next week.
Woohoo LEGO not doing 2020 exclusives.. scalpers be damn...
LEGO originally planned to release the LEGO DC Wonder Woman 77906 set at San Diego Comic-Con 2020 as a tie-in for the upcoming film Wonder Woman 1984. However, when the event was cancelled, the release was shifted to the DC FanDome event last weekend. The set briefly went up for pre-order here at LEGO.com, but has since been deactivated in favor of Walmart, who now have the set up for pre-order right here as an exclusive priced at $39.99 with shipping slated for October 1st. The situation is similar to the LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel set that was released earlier this week.

Now, however, a recent search of the LEGO Star Wars store on Amazon.com has discovered a mystery set three-quarters of the way down listing with the product name of “LEGO tbd-CC-SW-2020”. It doesn’t take a cryptographer to work out the bulk of the initialisms, leaving CC – which is presumably Comic-Con.What’s more, the Amazon URL (which only leads to a 404 page) includes the number 6321243 in it, and a search on Google quickly brings up a page on Brickset.com that has this numeral as the LEGO item number on their – you guessed it – 77904 Nebulon-B Medical Frigate entry. With a very affordable price tag of $39.99, this 459-piece set is going to get snapped up quickly – whenever it comes out. Whether its distribution is limited to only the United States is unknown, however, this product isn’t showing up in the LEGO brand store areas on Amazon Canada, Germany or the United Kingdom, suggesting that it is exclusive to Amazon USA.
All the people who won the Super Girl Mini Fig at least have something to be happy about in 2020.Edit: Including my wife.
Congrats on you (her) winning one! I did, and a number of other board members did, too
