CCI Auctions for badges underway!

I had a Sunday badge for this year since I decided to get one in 2019 for the 2020 con with the intention of getting a four-day badge for 2021, then covid hit.

So, just moments ago, I decided to place a bid for a four-day badge for this year’s con and won the bid!

They posted a lot of new listings since Friday.  49 on Friday, 26 on Saturday and 27 on Sunday.  The price seems to be holding between $700-$800 for one set of badges.

Is it looking like the auction is winding down?  Currently there are only 20 entries.

Honestly, The badges already are $305 or whatever, I would pay that tax if I was flush and didn't want to deal with all the hustling that it takes to do two rounds of badge buying in most cases to get the full con.

Definitely.  They only posted 2 new auctions a day for the last 3 days.  The two they posted today end on Tuesday.  It's down to the wire.

Now the question is, will they have onsite badge sales?

Welp I think I overpaid by $100-200 or so. Not the worst mistake I’ve made, but it was tough to read this time. It seems like the last one had a greater dip and a higher peak.

I’m really glad they do this now … there are many times in the past I would have overpaid to get a seat at the table.
