Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration will be on October 15, 2022!

WHAT you need: Comic-Con Member ID and Last Name of friends (if purchasing for others), the days they want, and your credit/debit card at the ready.

WHEN it takes place: Saturday, October 15! The Queue-it waiting room will open at 8:00 AM PDT, and the sale will commence at 9:00 AM PDT! You must enter the waiting room prior to 9:00 AM PDT to participate.

WHERE the sale happens: In your Member ID account where a virtual waiting room will be enabled.

WHO is eligible: All paid attendees from Comic-Con 2022 and Comic-Con Special Edition 2021. Eligible participants can purchase badges for up to 3 people (yourself included, if you choose). Each person you purchase for must also be eligible for Returning Registration and have their own valid/confirmed Member ID account.

All purchases are subject to a $10 handling fee per member.

So $340 total for 4-Day+PN with the handling fee.

Not too thrill that CCI is going cheap and doing this in house with Queue IT. Heard  it was a nightmare for NYCC event and Merch registration with shady queue bypass links floating around all over the place. Really hate queue it.

I think t's a little misleading to say the registration is thru our ID.  Yes, we sign into to our ID, but from what I can see, we're transferred into QUEUE IT servers.

They used queue IT for CCSE, and it was ok.  Granted it wasn't the same amount of traffic, but I think it will be ok.  I for one will be logging in about 5 minutes after the waiting room is open.  We'll see what happens.

WonderCon as well: it's like CCI has been testing it for almost a year leading up to SDCC sales.  I've learned over the years that it's incredibly easy to get grumpy & nervous about badge buying but in the end we have very little control over the process and it's not quite worth it to freak out.  All we can do is line up our ducks in a row, so to speak, and make sure we're copacetic on our end.

Saving the freaking out until the day of the sales...

Ha; I remember when it was literally $40 or $50 for 4-day w/PN, purchased for the next year right after picking up your badge for the current year on PN

So I sent an email to CCI using your wording, and got back the following response.

"Thank you for your email.

All current available for Returning Registration can be found on our website at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. More detailed and step by step instructions will be posted prior to the event. "

It would have been helpful if they put that extra sentence in our announcement email, but there you go.
