Thanks for posting this. I corrected the city name on the credit card in my son's member id (used to purchase a friend's badge). Does anyone remember when they start processing the payments so I can keep an eye out to make sure the payment went through? During the check out the wrong city populated (our zip code is a pain, there are 3 different cities that use it). thanks!

It's usually within the next 48 to 72 hours after the sale, if I recall correctly. (You may see a temporary charge on your credit card in the meantime, but they seem to usually process things the next business day - basically sometime on or after the Monday following the sale.  Someone correct me on this, if I'm misremembering, ha ha.)

Thanks that's what I remembered. I did remember one year where I could see the charge pretty soon after the sale but that was before this new system. I still don't see a charge pending and also called the cc company telling them I messed up on city but they can't do anything till they see the charge. thanks again

None for me, but those others I bought for went into their profiles pretty much as soon as they could yesterday to pay for their badges.

Is it a pending charge?  I had one person last year with a pending one higher, but it adjusted when it processed.

It turned out the person try to pay on their own account, but payment failed and they didn't know about it. So they charged my account because I had a credit card saved to my profile. So going forward the adding a credit card to my profile didn't even matter since you still had to add each day and input credit card again. I'm probably gonna remove my saved credit card for next year then and just wait for the option to pay a few hours later.

I bought 3 friends their badges. 2 out of the 3 paid on their own while the third person paid me back directly. Today I see that I was only charged for one person since the other 2 paid themselves. The self-paying feature worked out for me.

That option worked for me as well. I would like to see a specific time period stated. That would be helpful. I did mine within a couple hours of the sale ending. So glad it worked!
It is 2023 and I am still asking...where's my flyin' car??!! @fannishmarcia

Agreed. I hope they keep this feature moving forward for future sales. It eliminates the middleman of Venmo, Zelle, etc.

I thought I got charged for others' badges. No? It looks like it through the email. I got the confirmation and they did not. It shows a charge on my email. I haven't checked my credit card because that's such a pain in the rear. I usually wait for the paper statement to come out.

Talk to the people you bought badges for and asked if they paid their balances themselves. If so, then you won't be charged their balances. If they didn't, then you'll most likely be charged the full amount of the 3 badges.
