Our next show is scheduled for May 9th, we will follow CDC recommendations closely and keep our faithful fans updated. We have a few ideas in mind to make our show possible despite the current COVID-19 situation. Stay tuned for further details.

Well, unless things change drastically over the next month, the May 9th show will be postponed. In as much as comic book entertainment is needed badly now, so is prudent social distancing. Hopefully, we can move forward with the August show, but again much of that will depend on the status of the pandemic. This does not preclude us from planning other activities, but keeping the public safe and healthy is essential at this time. Check back here for updates, and stay safe.

A good friend of mine (and a San Diego Comic Book Show dealer) Curtis Leham had 10 long boxes and 2 short boxes of comic books stolen from a storage unit located off the 905 freeway in Otay Mesa. The last time he saw the books were March 8th when he put them in storage. All the boxes are numbered in black with the corresponding number on the lid of the box. On the inside of each lid is Curtis's name. Two of the long boxes are dollar books. The rest of the boxes have books valued up to $50. If anyone approaches you selling these books, please call Curtis Leham at 760-716-3040. Additionally, all the books are in alphabetical order, individually priced on a sticker with and additional sticker with a price code on it. Please help him locate his books.

We are seriously considering holding a show in the month of December. But I need essential feedback from potential attendees if we are to do the show. Please feel free to reply here about your thoughts on the show.

First, are you willing to wait in the hotel lobby as we can only allow 10-20 attendees in the dealer room?
Second, are you planning to attend to buy, sell or trade comic books?

Third, how many people will attend the show with you?

Fourth, which era of comic books are you looking for (i.e. golden, silver, bronze, copper or modern)?

Fifth, what is the one thing you would like us to add or do to enhance you experience at the San Diego Comic Book Show?

Please be brief and concise with your comments. We really want to bring back the show and nearly all the dealers are expected to return. If we are able to process a smooth line of traffic while controlling the number of attendees in the dealers room, we may be able to hold the show in December. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated and please tell your friends to engage in this post. Hope to see all of you soon!
