Digital comics
alyssa:
Anyone do this?
I love having books in my hand plus I'm a collector but I've *got* to figure out how read more comics
That sounds weird but having them on my tablet means I don't have to think about logistics

I *love* having my comics on my iPad, especially when I'm travelling away from home. It's a bit of a headache getting them on there but worth it once they are.

so you've got a full size ipad?
I've got a mini I haven't broken the seal on yet. do you think it'd be too small for comics?
kappolo:
I read comics mostly on paper. But Marvel comics (most of the ones I read) thay have a free digital copy. So I can read it at work during breaks. I also have a Nexus 7 and when travelling for work, is nice not to bring a stack of paper :)

I personally think that the regular sized iPad is almost the perfect size for comics. I think it's still just a tad too small, but mostly works great. The colors of comics pop really nice on the iPad, and I mostly read comics on my iPad vs 'hard copy' (WAY easier to store in our storage-deficient condo). When I went to Europe last spring, and when I go on trips I love being able to take tons of digital comics with me to read (I currently have several gigs worth on my iPad)
